For as long as I can remember, I’ve been the one people turn to when they need to talk something through. As the oldest of five siblings, I learned early how to navigate much of life independently and naturally stepped into a mentor role for those coming up behind me. It wasn’t until much later that I realized how valuable it would have been to have a mentor of my own — someone to offer perspective, ask the right questions, and simply be in my corner.
My own experiences with grief, complicated family dynamics, and major life transitions led me to professional coaching and ultimately to making mentorship my life’s work. I’ve learned that we don’t have to rush past the hard parts of life in order to create a good one. Sometimes we need space to understand what we’re feeling, reconnect with what matters to us, and figure out what the next step actually looks like.
That philosophy shapes the way I mentor. I’m naturally curious, listen closely, and give people room to arrive at their own answers while still offering honesty and accountability when they need it. I believe some of the best conversations happen when there’s less pressure to have a conversation at all, and I love connecting with someone in an environment where they already feel like themselves. With my background in yoga and mindfulness, I can also bring in movement, breathwork, grounding, and other practical tools when they’re helpful.
More than anything, I want the people I mentor to know that I’m genuinely in their corner. My hope is to help them understand themselves better, trust themselves more, and move through the hard things with greater confidence while creating a life that feels like their own.
