I get it — parenting is not what we expected. It wasn’t supposed to be this hard. Through coaching, we can find your authentic parenting style and set goals that make it easier to raise your children with confidence and to support the work they’re doing with their mentor.

I’d love to share what I’ve learned from raising two neurodivergent teens, five years as a public school educator, and four years as a parent coach. As a parent coach certified through the Parent Coaching Institute, I bring together graduate-level training, lived experience, and in-school advocacy. I read the books, attend the conferences, talk with teachers, therapists, doctors, and counselors, listen to the podcasts, create parent workshops, run two parent support groups, and advise school leadership. All of it has given me humility and a parent’s understanding of what you’re facing. I won’t tell you what to do. Instead, I’ll ask nonjudgmental questions that lead you to your own parenting power.

Here’s what you’ll gain if we work together:

  • Compassionate accountability
  • Improved parent–child connection
  • Clarity about your parenting style
  • The 15 Components of Brain-Compatible Parenting™
  • Out-of-the-box thinking and collaboration
  • Confidence in your parenting boundaries and choices
  • Behaviors as communication
  • Reframing the negatives
  • Neurotypes and behavior
  • Permission to let some things go

Personally, my days are full of perseverance, laughter, boundary holding, and connection with my two teen boys and my husband. I’m no stranger to mistakes and learning opportunities. I enjoy staying active — hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and fitness — but also gardening, reading, a good nap, and board games. At home we have a house rabbit named Alice, a cat named Winston, and seven fish. We also foster homeless cats and volunteer at an equine-assisted therapy center.
